About me…
I'm a graphic design 2024 graduate from Arts University Bournemouth. I love all aspects of the design process; in particular typography, branding and book design. I have worked on live projects- branding for a sustainable dog grooming company and an art exhibition book .
I am passionate about projects with a purpose, I think design needs to be meaningful and resonate with relevant audiences. I have designed a few books and several of my spreads were selected for an exhibition catalogue in London for a contemporary show on Nigerian Art called In a Pot of Hot Soup. Undertaking deep research, fuelled my concept where I used oil to realise the design in response to the fifteen-year dumping of oil from Shell-BP, who polluting local waterways nearly 3000 times.
I am competent in using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. I’ve also started using After Effects and Sigma for personal and industry projects.
Outside of uni, I compete in archery. I am on the ladies Compound GB Team, we were the first British Archery team to rank 1st in the world in May 2023 and my highest UK ranking is 4th. Through archery, I have had the opportunity to compete in numerous countries around the world and even pick up a few medals along the way. This has been a great experience, where I have explored different cultures and met a broad range of people. It has also pushed me to be extremely well organised as I balance competing, my course work and a part-time job.
I am keen to gain industry insight and am looking for freelance work. I bring an excellent work ethic, adaptability and a keen eye for detail. Please get in touch and I would be happy to chat about my work in person!
